The Mollusk Man's real name is Max Anton, an amateur artist and malacologist. Since 2004, he has volunteered at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, where he first discovered the world of Malacology. Max is a Christian, and he attributes the wonders of the natural world to God.
Max spends most of his time outdoors when he's not in school or working at the Museum. Besides mollusks, he studies paleontology, insects, armadillos, Latin, and Egyptology. He also enjoys writing, drawing, classical music, and filmmaking.
